At GERNATY, we combine innovative production with sustainable climate protection.
Our products are manufactured in selected factories in Asia and distributed in Europe & Asia. We are aware that international production and logistics cause CO2 emissions. That is why we have developed a clear way to actively offset CO2: Planting trees in Thailand.
To offset our carbon footprint, we analyze our sales figures on a monthly basis and use a set formula to calculate the number of trees that need to be planted.
We carry out these calculations in collaboration with the 'Click a Tree' service. For each calculated unit, a tree is planted in Thailand, which in the long term helps to protect the climate and strengthen the local environment.
With this approach, GERNATY is making an active contribution to climate protection and demonstrating that responsible business and global responsibility can go hand in hand.

Instead of just planting the required number of trees, we voluntarily multiply this number by a factor of 3 to make an even greater, positive contribution to the environment.

Our world is facing enormous climate challenges, and CO₂ emissions are one of the biggest causes. But there is a natural and extremely effective solution: planting trees. Trees are true climate heroes - they absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere, improve air quality and create habitats for animals and plants. Offsetting CO₂ emissions by planting trees means actively taking responsibility and minimizing the negative effects of production and transport. This investment in nature is sustainable, visible and brings long-term benefits for the climate, the environment and the local population. With every tree planted, we jointly make a valuable contribution to the preservation of our planet - because every tree counts!
